Resize a video for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts all want vertical 9:16 video. Vidonut reformats any video in a few clicks and fills the empty space with a blurred copy so nothing gets cut off.
How to do it, step by step
Add your video
Open Vidonut and click + Add video / photo.
Pick a format
At the top, under Format, choose 9:16 Reels for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 1:1 for a square post, or 16:9 for YouTube.
Choose how it fits
In the Effects tab pick Fill (zooms to fill the frame), Fit (shows the whole video with bars) or Fit + blur (whole video on a blurred background). Click Apply to all clips to use it everywhere.
Add captions and music (optional)
Use Captions for auto subtitles, Text for titles and Music for a soundtrack.
Export
In Export choose 1080p and click Render video. Use Save current frame (PNG) to make a cover image.
